Equipped for the task

Exodus 4:10-13
Then Moses said to the Lord, "Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue." 11 But the Lord said to him, "Who has made the human mouth? Or who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now then go, and I Myself will be with your mouth, and instruct you in what you are to say." 13 But he said, "Please, Lord, now send the message by whomever You will

It was 15 miles by boat from the dock to the hunting spot on the far end of the lake.  I had been across the water a couple times in the daylight...  but this time it would be dark when I would return in the boat.

I questioned if I could do it on my own, but I had no choice, I was the only one and there were 4 hunters counting on me to bring them to safety.

I went and picked up the hunters and 90 minutes after dark we arrived back in camp, safely... a little shaken... but safely.

There are times in life where God calls on us to get a job done for Him.  Many times we might feel inadequate for the job...  but we have to trust that if God has called us to do it, He feels that we have the tools to get the job done.

In the verses above where Moses argued that he couldn't do it, we often argue with God about our abilities.   When we do this, we are failing to trust God abs His power in our lives.

What is God calling you to do for Him?  Are you ready to move ahead on the job?  Each time we doubt we lessen our trust in God.  The n6time you're called to do something for God, trust that He has all you need to successfully get the job done.  If He calls you to a job for Himself, He'll give you success...  if you trust Him for the outcome
