HAVING FAITH IN YOUR GUIDE
Matthew 4:21b-22
Jesus called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed Him.
After nearly 40 years as a guide it is very frustrating when your hunting clients question your every move. If you've ever been guided or hunted or fished with a guide, you should understand this. A poor guide will keep some of the best fishing holes and hunting spots for himself. Some of us have a passion for serving hunters and himself and do all we can for those that entrust us with their time and efforts... I've been guiding for several decades and I have our client's best interest at heart 100% of the time.
Some people are going to question the leaders and their guides no matter what. But somehow in every situation there has to be a leader and followers. If God puts a leader in place then the others need to follow.
Some thought that Jesus was a lunatic. He shook up everything that was known to the religious system of His day. Even those that were looking for a messiah thought He was off His rocker. Yet when He called His disciples what did they do? They left their family and jobs and followed Him.
How are you doing with allowing God to lead you on a daily basis? Do you question His every move in your life? Where is your faith and trust.
If you don't trust Him entirely, if you don't see that His way is ALWAYS the right way, you need to reevaluate your faith in what He has done for you.
Put all your faith in your guide!
