THE KING IS COMING!
2 Timothy 3:1-5
But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, opposed to what is good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving God. 5 They will maintain the outward appearance of religion but will have repudiated its power. So avoid people like these.
Is there ANY doubt that we are living in the time described in this passage? A time when not only the everyday citizen fit into this description but more-so those we are supposed to look up to. Can we even imagine what would be left to our world in 100 years if the rate of decline remains at the pace it is at now? It can't go on...
I wrote this last paragraph 10 years ago... and the rate of moral decline has escalated at an unbelievable rate since then. There is little truth in the mainstream media. In a place that is supposed to just report what is happening... they twist the truth... or more often, out and out lie. We hear cheers for the voice to kill babies, at any time during pregnancy. So many cannot even answer the question, "what is a woman?" Everything that was once good is now bad... and everything was once bad and is now applauded. There is little happening today that is truly uplifting, pure and good.
Even if were not seeing it... there'll is good news... THE KING IS COMING!!!
When I was a boy my mom would bake on Saturday afternoons. The Suring Wisc radio station, WRVM, would be playing on the counter. One day my sister Becky came running into the kitchen when she heard the Gaithers singing...

I just heard the trumpet sounding and soon His face I'll see
The King is coming, the King is coming
Praise God, He's coming for me
She excitedly said, "the king is coming momma, the king is coming!".
Are we that excited for His arrival? If He arrives today, do you know you're leaving with Him? Are those around you seeing something in you that makes them want to know the King too?
There's no doubt that the King is coming soon, coming for His people. Are you ready? Are you excited?
